We made it through! I admit that the days of  Mercury Retrograde leave me feeling a bit held back.  As a result I chanced initiating a new sewing project on the fly.  I jokingly call myself a couturier sewer (really I am not) and enjoyed making alterations to a pattern to make it perfect.  Overly confident, i did not bother doing a fitting because i was so sure the skirt would fit.  Went to the trouble of partially lining it (first mistake) and then doing French seams (no going back!).  Astonished to find (boo hoo) it is too small.   Lesson - don't start new projects during Mercury retrograde.

On the other hand I have a new motivation to lose the next 5lbs, so that I can enjoy a designer skirt I made myself for under $20!  (Mercury loves a bargain apparently)  and perhaps that is the alignment i needed!

How did you experience this Mercury retrograde?  Scroll down and share your story.   (You will need to login with your AMR login to get the reply button).   We'd love to hear from you.

I decided Mercury Retro would be the perfect time to choose a color to paint my sun room (where i spend most of my time) and then have the job done as Mercury goes direct. 7 sample cans of paint later (one for each trip to the paint store...) i am pretty sure i found the right one. Tomorrow's the day!
